Kitten Reservation / Booking
Did You Find That Special Little One You Want to Share Your Life With?
To make sure that the kitten will wait specifically for you, you can reserve the kitten.
📌 Why Is a Reservation Necessary?
Until a reservation deposit has been paid for the kitten, the breeder has the right to sell the kitten to another prospective buyer who has paid the deposit earlier.
The kitten’s advertisement remains active, and new inquiries arrive every day.
Once the deposit has been paid:
-
the kitten is reserved for you;
-
the advertisement is removed from all sources;
-
the kitten can calmly wait for its move to its new family.
🐾 Reservation Terms
-
The reservation deposit is ___ € and is included in the total price of the kitten.
-
The deposit is non-refundable if the buyer cancels the purchase for their own reasons.
Reasons why the deposit is non-refundable:
-
during the reservation period, the kitten could have been sold to another family;
-
demand for older kittens is generally lower than for younger kittens;
-
finding a new buyer may take a long time;
-
keeping and caring for a kitten involves daily expenses.
👉 The deposit is also non-refundable if the buyer postpones the kitten’s moving date more than twice for reasons that are not caused by the breeder.
In this case, the breeder has the right to refuse to sell the kitten to the buyer.
🛑 Breeder’s Right to Refuse the Sale After the Deposit Has Been Paid
The breeder reserves the right to refuse to sell the kitten even after the deposit has been paid if the buyer’s behaviour causes serious concern or violates the principles of respectful and appropriate communication. For example:
-
rudeness, disrespect or aggressive behaviour;
-
disrespectful attitude;
-
intrusive or inappropriate behaviour;
-
violation of generally accepted social norms.
The breeder, for their part, always undertakes to communicate respectfully and appropriately, avoid conflicts and strive for constructive dialogue.
👉 If the breeder refuses to sell the kitten to the buyer, the deposit will be refunded in full if no more than three days have passed since the deposit was paid.
👉 If more than three days have passed, the breeder has the right not to refund the deposit, as the kitten has been reserved and removed from sale during this entire period.
📘 Breeder’s Responsibilities
The breeder undertakes to:
-
provide the buyer with all necessary information about caring for the kitten: feeding, keeping, adaptation and basic veterinary recommendations;
-
answer questions concerning the characteristics of the breed and the individual kitten;
-
provide the buyer with advice and support before and after the kitten moves to its new home;
-
communicate respectfully and appropriately, avoid conflicts and strive for constructive dialogue.
Important:
The breeder will not intentionally delay the process, look for reasons to cancel the sale or create artificial problems. On the contrary, it is in the breeder’s interest for the kitten to find a good, caring and reliable family as soon as possible.
All provisions concerning possible refusal of the sale or retention of the deposit apply only to rare and exceptional situations where the buyer’s behaviour causes serious concern.
In normal and ordinary situations, these provisions are not actually applied, and the breeder always strives to find a compromise that works for everyone.
🔄 Deposit Refunds
The deposit will be refunded in full if the transaction does not take place due to circumstances caused by the breeder, for example:
-
the kitten is found to have health problems or a defect;
-
the kitten is injured before moving to its new home;
-
the breeder is forced to cancel the sale for their own personal reasons
(for example, a decision to keep the kitten in the cattery).
In this case, the reasons related to the buyer’s inappropriate behaviour described above are not considered “personal reasons of the breeder”, but are a consequence of the buyer’s own behaviour.
